Medical school is hard.  You put your heart and soul and – let’s face it – all of your earthly and ethereal effort into your education, but there is always more to know, more to do, more to live up to, at the end of the day.  And, if we’re being quite honest here, a lot of times you do get kicked about by your superiors.  It goes without saying that deity complexes are enriched in the medical community; some physicians feel altogether good about themselves only when they’ve become deft at stepping on someone small.  That someone small?  The medical student, of course (or the poor newbie nurse, whoever is closest).  It doesn’t matter how bright or hard-working or prepared or well-read or determined you are, sometimes you just feel beaten at the end of the day.  And that’s when you need a pump song.

Enter Good Feeling.  Pump away.
