In salads and sandwiches, soups and breads, yoghurt and, of course, those fabulous refrigerator pickles born of the fifties – I LOVE fresh dill.  It just tastes like home, earthy, with the slightest bite, maybe a little gritty at times – but so comfortable.  Huzzah for the farmers market – the Whines will be well-dilled in the coming weeks!
