Sing It Sunday

The Dog Days of M3 year will be over by noon tomorrow, and I will without a doubt be running fast and singing (but certainly not all decked out in weird body paint with bizarre side-kicks) – that is until I start the droll work of preparing my residency applications and studying up for my next rotation. After that comes step 2 boards, sub-internships, interviews, rank orders, and other such nonsense. There is no rest for the med-ed…but that’s half the fun, eh? Happiness sometimes does strike like a bullet…

For more Florence and the Machine

Love the song that I think you’re referring to! And congrats on wrapping up third year – you’ll have to take an exuberant, well-deserved break after this 🙂

Oh, I’m so enjoying my week off – between meetings for letters of recommendation and updating my CV and personal statement and such things! And the weather in my neck is just GREAT! Can you not see the video above? – it’s The Dog Days Are Over by Florence and the Machine – good stuff! Hope all is well for you as you prepare your med school apps and enjoy graduation!

Oh that’s no fun! But hopefully you’ll be out and about soon! If it’s any consolation, I’m also quite un-relaxed these days too (what with med school applications, work, and master’s program prepping on my mind).

I actually can’t see the video above, but you’ve confirmed my deepest wishes :p I love that song, heck I love everything by Flo! But I guess it seems for us like the dog days are never really over, are they? 😉

Keep it clean, keep it respectful, or keep away.
