Sing It Sunday

My name is Mullberry – Mullberry Whine.

I used to post here about 5 times a week.  It was good fun – for me, and the two people who liked to read here.

But then, my internet company started sponsoring net outages during peak times – like all through those few hours I am not at the medical complex most days.

So, I was forced to record my daily musings on little notecards, which in addition to being unruled are a bit unruly, fluttering about my desk space insistently.

But, lo, it appears my service is actually servicing this fine Sunday – and thus I may share with you one of my favorite songs and so entreat my internet to “Don’t Stop” transmitting.

And I hope you’ll enjoy the 14 posts – all written about my time on my current and rather taxing (physically and emotionally) rotation in the Radiation Oncology department –  which I’ve also scheduled to post come Monday morning (good morning to you, in advance).  Happy reading – and please don’t stop reading on account of my unplanned absence.

AWESOME. Except this is going to take serious time out of my study plan for not failing the first anatomy exam. (Really, I’m not a gunner, just scared of failing out of med school over the first exam.)

Oh, I remember my first anatomy exam like it was yesterday! That seminal test is more of a mental hurdle than anything, really – until you pass it, you’re not quite sure if maybe they made some clerical error in accepting you to medical school. But once you show that first examination what’s what, everything suddenly seems like old hat and you’re an official member of the club. (That club with exorbitantly high membership fees that demands your every waking hour and many of your dreaming ones and which you’re not really a voting member of till you’re well beyond taking stock of such things…;) ). Good luck, I’m sure you’ll do swimmingly!
